  • 1 1/4 dl water
  • 1 1/4 dl orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 large potato (approx. 250 g)
  • 6 1/4 dl wheat flour
  • 2 1/2 dl condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons rapeseed oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons of icing sugar


  1. First, you need a medium-sized saucepan. Pour in the water with orange juice, butter, and salt.
  2. Then let the ingredients melt together and stir well.
  3. Now prepare the large potato. Peel the potatoes and then boil them. When the potatoes have become soft, mash them into a puree.
  4. Add mashed potatoes, condensed milk, and eggs to the liquid mixture.
  5. Mix with a wooden spoon so that any lumps disappear.
  6. Then add wheat flour and baking powder. Then knead the dough thoroughly with your hands.
  7. It is important that there are no lumps or uneven parts in the dough. If it does, the shape of the donuts will change due to the air trapped inside.
  8. Then sprinkle some extra wheat flour on your baking table, or other hard clean surface, and continue kneading. Do not add more flour to the mixture, just on top. If the dough gets too much flour, it will be compact and not fluffy as it should be.
  9. Roll out the dough to a thickness of no more than 1.5 cm.
  10. Then cut the dough with a round cookie cutter and set aside.
  11. Let the round pieces of dough rest for 1.5 hours. This is to make them soft and fluffy.
