IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL!!
Craftsmanship is excellent, install was quick and easy, and the little pump it came with allows you to control the flow to suit your needs. I found that in order to modulate the bamboo strike and make it a single strike vs a tap-tap as some reviewers mentioned, I had to lower the pump pressure to nearly nothing. I also affixed some jute to the striking part of the bamboo to dampen the sound a bit as I live in a strict HOA area and didn’t want to irritate my neighbors. The slightly dampened strike is just perfect for my purposes though – I put a half-barrel fountain outside my bedroom window and I hear the soothing rhythm of this shishi odoshi as I drift off to sleep. Highly recommend!
